| Hello everyone, this is my first time posting here and I just wanted to say that all the information I have seen on this forum has been a great help. I do have a question though. Now that the CCNA has been broken up into 2 tests (640-821 and 811) what information do I study if I wanted to say, take one or the other first? Like is one just protocols and subneting and the other one like the simulator sutff? I have the Sybex book to study from but it does not put the 2 test into different catigories, it just focuses on the 801 test. Any help is greatly appriciated.
Thanks in advance. | |

| Just one more question. Will I be able to get by with using the Gold edition Simulator software from Sybex? I have worked on a couple routers before, but that was a while ago. Basically, I don't want to go out and buy routers and set it all up since I have no more room in my office.
Thanks in advance. | |

The CCNA can be taken using two different methods:
You can take the 640-801
OR
The 640-821 AND 640-811
The book you have is for the 640-801 test. | |
