Where is the best place to buy them, and for a reasonable price??? Also what series of Cisco routers do I need to use to study for the New 640-801 exam??? Also if I buy a home kit, what are the bare minimum requirements I should look for in these CCNA Home Kits???

I think the 2500 series routers are the standard for CCNA studies because they are inexpensive and plentiful. I used two Cisco 2501 routers connected back-to-back with DCE/DTE crossover cables. I also bought two AUI Ethernet transceivers and two console cable kits. This setup cost me around $250.00. The only thing that I might have wanted to add would have been a 1900 series switch such as the 1912 or 1924.

You didn't want to have an ethernet port so you could connect it to a dsl router/modem or anything?

Each 2501 has one ethernet port in the form of an AUI interface and I used the AUI Ethernet transceivers to convert from the fifteen pin female DB connector to a standard rj-45.

I've got a Cisco 2502 router. It doesn't have the 15 pin connector, just the AUX jack. Can that also be converted to RJ45?

The auxillary port can be used as another console port or connected to via a modem but it is not an ethernet interface.
