should it follow T568A/B pinout definition?
like the following,

Pin 1- White with Orange stripe (T2).
Pin 2- Orange. (R2)
Pin 3- White with Green stripe. (T3)
Pin 4- Blue. (R1)
Pin 5- White with Blue stripe. (T1)
Pin 6- Green. (R3)
Pin 7- White with Brown stripe. (T4)
Pin 8- Brown. (R4)

This is a T568B, so we use orange and blue pairs for T1. If it's a T568A, we use green and blue. Am I right?

what about RJ-48C?

Thanks!

I suck at this but I KNOW many here are good at it so rather than point you to a link I would prefer one of the experts respond.
(ya I should know it, but I am spoiled and others do it for me)

A T1 uses wires 1, 2, 4, and 5. That's the most important part.

If we use T568A, we use green and blue;
If we use T568B, we use orange and blue;
Both are 1,2,4,5.. I got it

Thank you, yankee and robert!!!

Also T568A is more used than A. And what ever you do do not use both in your network. it makes for a bit of a pain.
