Wanted to know what would be the best material to start preping for CCNA. I have a few years as a NT Admin and wanted to change into Cisco which I don't really get into at work. But I have a background with networking.

Thanks in Advance!

Todd Lammle's book would be a start. Simulators will be a big help since you don't have access to cisco routers. If you have some money to spend, you can start buying a few routers and a couple of switches, ebay is stacked with ccna kits. Don't be a stranger to Cisco's website, there's a wealth of information there.

Thanks for you insight,

Can you recommend any router companies?

Ebay? Most people on here find that it is an inexpensive way to purchase routers.

For the CCNA you will need either one or two 2501 or 2503 routers and a 1900 or 2900 series switch if you are really feeling flash about it all.
