| Wanted to know what would be the best material to start preping for CCNA. I have a few years as a NT Admin and wanted to change into Cisco which I don't really get into at work. But I have a background with networking.
Thanks in Advance! | |

| Todd Lammle's book would be a start. Simulators will be a big help since you don't have access to cisco routers. If you have some money to spend, you can start buying a few routers and a couple of switches, ebay is stacked with ccna kits. Don't be a stranger to Cisco's website, there's a wealth of information there. | |

| Thanks for you insight,
Can you recommend any router companies? | |

| Ebay? Most people on here find that it is an inexpensive way to purchase routers.
For the CCNA you will need either one or two 2501 or 2503 routers and a 1900 or 2900 series switch if you are really feeling flash about it all.
