Does 802.1Q allow multiple spanning tree?? It should support CST(common Spanning-Tree), which means only allow one spanning tree, right???

Thanks!

Originally what you say is 100% true, but I believe 802.1q has added support for pvst using an internal tag. It may depend on when your book was written as to what answer you get.
Maybe Darth, dmaftei or one of the others can confirm or correct me.

When the 802.1S standard was added to IEEE 802.1Q multiple spanning tree support was also added.

Thanks Johnny. I thought it was the case but just was too lazy to verify it before posting.
