| Just wondering here, Is the router boot sequence: Flash, Rom, then TFTP or Flash, Tftp, and then Rom?
See at first i had it as Flash, Rom, Tftp, which does make sense, since the flash and rom are physically part of the router and a tftp server could be on a remote network, which may or may not be reachable and the tftp server itself may or may not be up.
Reason i mention this is i came across a question like this on how2pass.com(bought the 640-801 subscr), answered it as Flash, Rom and then Tftp and got it wrong, with the correct answer being Flash, Tftp, and then Rom.
Looking for Clarification!
And thanx in advance. | |

| The answer gaven is right, flash, tftp, rom.
Because in ROM there has only a mini-IOS, which is used for emergency. Flash and TFTP instead store the regular IOS. Think of regular first, then emergent..hope by this way, it would make some sense to you.

| hey man thanks alot on that, the rom storing the mini ios didn't even register with me, it makes sense now though, say how's your studies going?
i've decided to go back and take the 801 instead of taking the 2 exam route i was considering, cause between how2pass, celtic rover, the lammle book, and doing labs, i should be able to pass this damn thing or find a different line of work.
taking the plunge thursday, the 26th.
