Hi i am in the army and debating whether or not to get out in the next 3 yrs. I am 20 yrs old. All my training in the army has been in voice and data switching (military and commercial) as well as simple networking, beginner level training with PIX firewalls, different military encryption devices, Administrator level training in routing (3620s, 3725s, 3745s), microsoft exchange 2000 server, N.E.T's Promina 800 as well as other communications equipment for the army. I have already been in for 2 yrs, have been deployed to afghanistan and i will eventually be leaving for iraq. I will soon have a CCNA certification. My question is this how do i determine my earning potential. Should i stay in the army and get more experience with the military so i can come into the commercial arena at a higher entry level? the army owes me 50,000 dollars for college when i get out whenever that is. I don't know who to talk to or whose advice to consider.
