the test was nerve racking as hell, no tab commands, no context sensitive ?, but I made. a big relief off my shoulder. I thought I blew all the labs, but I guess not. Had one about router connectivity, one about acl's and the 3rd one i dont remember. thanks to everyone who ever answered any questions for me.

here's some advice.
1. if u dont know ur shit, i mean really really know ur shit, dont take the test.
2. dont use one source of reading material. i bought the 640-607 book by sybex, it left a whole lot out that the cisco press had. if u can only afford one book, by the cisco press one (or get the .pdf).
3. get a router sim, and practice exam questions. if it wasnt for the practice exam questions i wouldnt have passed. it prepared me to sit behind the screen for over a hour clicking (u got 110 minues) and got me used to thinking b4 answering becuase the obvious answer can be wrong sometimes.
4. know how to subnet in ur head and find the valid hosts, broadcast address, etc.it saves u alot time.
hope yall pass it, it's a good feeling to have that damn weight off my shoulder. | |
