I suggest using the Cisco CCNA Certification Guide by Wendell Odom. It's what I used to prepare for my CCNA exam. I also suggest getting a router simulator to practice your commands or get your hands on some real Cisco gear. I also used Test King practice exams to test myself.
I used all the above and prepared for 2 weeks and I passed with a solid 949/1000 score.
And one last word of advice: you must master subnetting to pass this exam.

Really Thanks

I'm not sure what you mean by 4 modules. Could you clarify please?

I'd use the Wendell Odom and Todd Lammle books for my exam. Lammle book basically covers everything and the Odom book is more detailed.

Cheers!

The modules are a part of cisco academy where you go to classes one day per week. They are 4 modules and "supose" to cover all the material for the exam.

Thaks for your responses,

hi angelkat,

If the 4 modules u referring to is the Cisco Academy Program.....then i must say it will be more beneficial for if you don't really have any clue abt the CCNA...and networking in general. And yes, they cover all the materials
for the CCNA xams.Plus in a Cisco Academy Program,u'll get to play around with real routers.

For me, Wendell Odom's CCNA Exam Certifications #640-607(CIsco Press) is very benefical and also Todd Lammle's CCNA (Sybex)is good.

Hope this Helps!~~

Thaks Again!!!!

I'm working on testking and 'Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices', The last one is very good, but i need some practice in subneting.. If you have some practice please send me a private mesage or send it to angelkat@costarricense.cr.

I work on a Cisco Academy.. but belive me ... the only good thing that you have is the practice with real routers but you have to learn with the books, so is the same thing.
Im on fourth module but i really don't feel prepared.
Thanks for all the help

Adri
