I am planning on buying CCNA Certification Library (CCNA Self-Study, exam #640-801) by
Wendell Odom. How good is this book in compare to other ones you may have used? If you have used it, please let me know.

I have not seen nor read Odom's new book for the 640-801. I have the one for 640-601 and I have to say that it was a very good book. It goes into much more detail than the Lammle book but while the language was drier, Odom still put it into terms that could easily be understood. I'm sure the new one is just as good. My take on it is to use the Odom book to truly understand the concepts and Lammle's book as an overall view. Hope this helps.

I echoed rwiggum's view,Wendell Odom's book is very good indeed. It caters for both the inexperieced..and experience in Cisco's CCNA.

I personally find the Wendell Odom's book beneficial (#640-607) in my quest to attain enlightment in CCNA

As for the new book (#640-801)..not too sure..have yet to browse over it(after my #640-607 exams perhaps)but i would think it is as good as the one Im using/reading/learning currently (#640-607)

Cheers~~~
