| Ive finish reading and am restudying the Sybex CCNA Study Guide (Todd Lammle) and was wondering if anyone has used this book, and if so was it enough to pass their ccna with a good score? Im gonna take the test before Sept 24 (Thats when Im startin college) so I can have a little bit of a edge of the other students in my class. Also if this book isn't sufficient for the exam, which other books should I read and what other material should i get?
thanks! | |

I heard review on this book is poor. Have you go to the publisher website for the corrections yet? I recommend you do so.
I use Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices book (ISBN:1-57870-111-2) and Mike Meyers' Certification passport CCNA (ISBN: 0-07-219365-4) along with the Testout exam sim and transcender.
I plan to take the exam either this coming week or next.
Best Wishes! | |

when you are the sybex website, type in the ISBN of the book that you have at the search textbox and press enter. For example, when I typed in 0-7821-4048-3 and pressed enter, it brings me to a page that show the title of the book, the author, the published date. When I click on the book link, it brings me to this book home page. At the right, (usually) there is a link for ERRATA, click on that will show you all the corrections that the authors found thus far.
Happy Hunting!

| Lammle is good but doesn't cover everything on the CCNA. I took the 4 semesters of CCNA and studied the latest edition but still had to use forums to get the right direction. |
