I took the CCNA test twice a couple weeks ago. first time i got an 847 then a 822. The second time i took the test I fealt extremely confident I did well and made myself go slow so I dind't get cocky and miss things.

I think I may have figured out why i failed. If the labs are worth 100 points like people think that would account for about how many question i realy didn't know. I think i goofed on one lab both times but i'm not sure.

In a lab if they want you to configure a serial port and they tell you in the criteria that the clockrate is set, do you have to configure the clockrate at all or does "set" mean configure it to the 64000 default? I assumed it meant I didn't have to configure it at all which would have caused me to miss that lab on both tests and fail both times. Does this make sense??

Yes it does make sense. If you don't know how to set up a simple rip network and plug in the right IP address on an interface then there is a reason why you didn't pass. Go find a simulator, or buy arouter off ebay.

I took the test twice. Both times i had 4 seperate sims but they were all similiar.
