I got 843 and needed 849 to pass.

I am retaking it wednesday the 20th. Basically i got screwed because everyone told me to rush on these forums so i did and I accidently screwed up on 2 questions.

Those 2 questions would have gave me enough to pass.

I will give a more detailed list of what i used for my ccna when i pass wednesday

It seems that you screwed up in more than two questions. You haven’t got the basics right. Rushing in an exam is the last thing you should do! People who rush in exams either know it all or know nothing or have read brain dumps.

My advice is read the questions carefully, if you know the answer(s) then quickly answer it & go to the next question. On questions that you’re not sure (not too many, I hope) spend time figuring out the most probable answer by eliminating the incorrect once. You don’t simply click on answers at random because the folk in the forum told you so. Good luck next time.

Djjit,

Don't be a flamer. I prepared a buttload for this CCNA exam.

The reason I was saying I went quick was because ALOT of people were saying you dont have enough time to complete all 60 questions. Going into the exam I wanted to speed threw the questions as fast as possible and have enough time for the SIMS. The router sims were pathetically easy.

THE problem was I screwed up on one of the questions when I was rushing and It was a question where I had to subnet a class (dont wanna say) of ip address. Well i had it all right but forgot to put 0 at the end.

I don't blame the forums at all its toattly my fault. You don't need to be an XXX about it.

Hey bloodshotx,

I didn’t wanna sound like a XXX, the stuff you wrote prompt me. My apologies. Let’s not go in to that, but let’s try to fix the problem at hand i.e. passing the CCNA. Now… you say the sim’s were easy, that’s great, which means you’ll have no problem next time. Did you notice any questions that got you scratching your head, well if it did…. start working on them, read relevant chapters until you know it inside out. In my case, I could not remember the steps of configuring ISDN, so I made short notes on the whole procedure & kept reviewing it. Now it’s a breeze. This method really works try it. Also before you start the exam make reference notes, for subnetting, ACL’s, WAN protocols etc.. so that you can refer back to see whether you have got it right. See my tips

Good Luck

Ps.

Did you finish the exam ahead of time?
