| Topics to master are;
IP ADDRESSING & SUBNETTING
V-lans and Lan switching
Wans ( frame relay,ppp & isdn)
Routing protocols (rip & igrp)
Basic commands (show?, config interface)
basically everything that is featured on sites like this in the free study guides. | |

Here is the major topics that come up after I sat CCNA exam.... It's exactly same as it's appeared on the exam score report
1. Bridging and Switching
2. OSI models and Layered Comminucation
3. Routed Protocols
4. Routing Protocols
5. WAN Services
6. Network Management
7. LAN technologies
8. Cisco and Networking Basics

| I took my exam yesterday and failed with 822.Can some one help me with a few questiona
1. what is management interface mode
2. there was a simulation that had all the configuartion of ip addresses already set but the interface could not reach each other .Is the solution to the problem to redo the configuration.(rip waas running on it)
3.in an interface is the interface with hop count 16 shut or 15 called shut (really confused on this)
I'll keep posting as soon as I remember other questions | |

I got that question too.. I took the exam last week.... U have to set the one more rip in the routers... They have three directly connected networks.. Originally there are only two.... After u set one more rip network, u can ping to that networks...

a. isdn phone device is TE1
b. TA Adapter is also TE1, that adapts between TE2 and NT2
c. a Normal PC is TE2
d. NT1 U interface is an interface between CO and NT1
I got that question in the exam too..

yes, that's about right. you feel that way because YOU STUDY the question and answer, but not the knowledge for you to INTERPRET it right. isn't it obvious?
if you see X and Y, the anwer is Z. why and how you arrive there. who cares, but Z is the right answer... | |

Yes He is right.... You need to understand the topics, not memorizing, ahuja_ash... Otherwise, u will find difficulties in the exam... So I really suggest u to understand the topics..
