| Passed the CCNA with a 975. Had 2 Sims, one had to subnet the network address to configure the E0 and S0. Fairly comprehensive test. | |

| I found the test alittle hard. I knew many right away, some never heard of. I made a few educated guesses. The sims were easy. The first one only took me a few minutes. I found that an S0 or S1 wasn't configed and had to add it to the RIP network..pinged the opposite host and it checked out. The second one I had to configure the E0 and S0 of a router with the ip address and SNM and add the clockrate to the S0. The hard part was I had to do some subnetting to find the first usable subnet and host to get the E0 address and the 2nd subnet and host to get S0. I say hard, if you know subnetting inside and out, it's easy. Be sure to ping to test and to copy run start to save it to the router! Memorize the class B/C subnetting chart and braindump it during the survey on the plastic paper they give you. Ask for 2 pieces of it so you can use the other one for math problems. Also if you have the time write out the .240 Increment of 16 out on it too. It will save alot of time. For instance, 16 32 48 64 etc. Hope this helps and good luck! | |
