| Hi everyone,
Passed my exam yesterday. It was pritty straight forward. Like to thank everyone who helped me.
I got 936/1000. Had 2 sims- 1st - you have to calculate the subnets and assign the 1st ip of 1st subnet to E0 and 1st ip of 2nd subnet to s0. The second sim had 3 routers which were not talking to each other. you were to troubleshoot. It was a RIP routing problem where you were to configure additional networks - eg network 172.168.30.0
The rest of the questions were theory & concepts, configuration basics and subnetting.
All the best to all who want to sit for the exam before 30 sept.
My advice- go well prepared. | |

| I am going to take the exam on 11. How do u rate the exam? Is it easy for well-prepared people? I think if I take the exam at this moment, I might get similar questions in the exam as like yours.....

| When I say well prepared- you should know:
Subnetting
Basic configuration as in the ICND book
WAN terminology, concepts & reference points
Switching - vlan, isl, half/full duplex
broadcast & collision domains - definition and devices that divide these domains.
Routing
ACL - what a given ACL will do?
Interfaces etc etc.
Do prac questions as much as possible

| Congrts Jay, 936 is a excellent score!
Just like to clarify something, if its within the jurisdictions of this forum;
quote: I got 936/1000. Had 2 sims- 1st - you have to calculate the subnets and assign the 1st ip of 1st subnet to E0 and 1st ip of 2nd subnet to s0. In Sim question number 1; all you did was assign the two ip address & that’s it?? Didn’t they want you to check/verify your configuration either by Ping or Telnet?
In Sim question number 2; what do you mean by “configure additional networks - eg network 172.168.30.0”. Did you go on adding all the network numbers that were available?
Do reply & let us know
Thanks
