| The exam was much easyer than I expected....
My training was:
1) Cisco Networking Academy (took me 1 year to complete).
2) CCNA_Exam 640-607 Certification Guide CiscoPress , by Wendell Odom
3) Lots of hours spent in a Cisco lab at my University (PUB Bucharest)
4) 2 networking courses at my University (Computer Science at PUB Bucharest)
5) some experince from my work place
There were 60 questions.
I had doubts on about 6 questions but I got them right. The simulations were very easy. Only basic stuff...I think that anyone that spent some time (maybe even a day) with a router could get the sims right.
This is the first exam that I attend and my first certification. | |

| Excellent(you beat me by 26points ) . I disagree on the sims though. THe problems are bad configurations but the ten minutes they allot(recommend) for the troubleshooting require you to know the commands for basic internetwork w/rip configuration like the back of your hand. Specially with the slow response time with the display. If you really utilize Odom's book to the fullest the ccna will definately be a breeze though.

Nice score 1 0 0 0.
But it took you one year to complete the Academy so if you ask me you should be ready in 24 minutes (2 minutes for the sims) and than 1000 points that would be great, joke man!!! .
On the Other hand I also saw somebody who need 3 years to pass the CCNA with 911 points, but he played a lot of Golf, that's also good.
It cost me 4 months of hard study and 1 month extra for the second attempt to pass.
(949)! So i have now only 7 month for the CCNP if i want to beat you!

| I too went through Cisco Academy also. Passed the exam with 911. I felt the sims were fairly easy also. I had alot of hands on with routers and switches."no family life for a year". Now that I passed i'm going to take a long vacation. I guess it pays to go to school and study very hard. | |
