Technical Forum or Test Questions Only

| Hi, I'm really enjoying reading this forum, but I was wondering if I could post a technical question here, or should I go to another discussion group elsewhere for that purpose? I have some Cisco experience as a desktop technician that assists the network admin and I would like to get certified. However, some of what I am reading in the study materials isn't present in my production environment (or isn't brought to my attention day to day)
Thank you | |

| If you read this forum enough, you will see that everyone here absolutely detests paper certifications. They all seem to proclaim that you need real world experience. So, in my opinion, if you have a technical question that may not be covered in your material, but still pertains to cisco equipment, then it would be a valid question to post to this forum. I have learned a considerable amount by just researching some of the questions posed on this forum. Now that's not to say that what I learned will appear on the test, but it does reinforce the info that I'm sure will be there. So post away. | |
