|  Passed CCNA with 962. Found that resources from Transcender, Self Test, Measure Up and Transimulator to be helpful along with routers (Ebay is a good source of used routers and switches). Talking about switches there weren't much questions on switches per se. I used whizlabs questions for a short while (only got 5 days of use, had problems with images not showing properly or missing images), their questions were much harder, but I think it is more of a learning experience as I did not see much questions relevant to their suite apart from the OSI questions. So all of you out there still doing the exams, IT CAN BE DONE. Books used were Wendell ODOM - Cisco CCNA Exam certification guide, Cisco's ICND by Steve McQuerry and the usual Sybex book. | |

| Wendell rocks! His book cant be beat.
Todd Lamalle has a pretty good Sybex book too.

| Should have mentioned I did use the Todd Lamalle Sybex book also, I find that Odom's book has more technical details, but ALL questions on the exam were in Cisco's ICND book in one form or another. Strange thing also is that I have a friend who told me today that he used testking but he didn't pass, so I think that having the answers also doesn't guarantee a pass. Knowing the stuff is key and use all the practice exams you can get your hands on, nearly EVERY question was in one of those practice exams so you may find that you get 10 from Transcender, 12 from self test, another 15 from Transimulator and so forth. | |
