| hi! guys,
I heard that by september, its required to pass 2 exams to get the same CCNA certificate, is it true?

| There is both a 2 exam option as well as a single exam option.

The new one exam option is 640-801 and for the 2 exam option you need to pass 640-811 and 640-821 as well.

| why would anyone go with the 2 exam route? Just going to cost extra buck$ right? What's the point, just to make it a little easier? | |

| For the same reason that few people ever take the CCNP foundation exam which if memory serves me, combines 3 of the 4 exams into one. It is a lot of information in one long exam. Heck I don't know if Cisco even offers the Foundation exam anymore as it has been years since I last looked for it.
