A friend of mine told me that study guides like testking and others give u the actual questions. Is this true? Or is it a scam to get your $$$. I read a testking Demo Questions and they looked pretty darn easy. Are these the qustions that are on the exam? Which study exam is the most accurate? They all claim 100% pass. They must all have the same questions. There are so many exam providers. How do they obtain the actual questions. Someone from the testing centers? It seems that Cisco would have a tighter control and a very large question pool.

TestKing, TroyTec, TestKiller, CheatSheets, etc are nothing but bráindumps. Don't use them. It's a waste of money. Buy a good book instead.

Listen to the man, he knows.

Buy a couple of routers as well if can afford them, you will learn that much more from either they Sybex or Cisco press books as well.

All of those PDF "study guides" are CRAP. Don't waste your money on them. Get a good book, practice with your router, read the articles on the Cisco web site and you'll be fine. Additionally, you can try some good practice exams to see how things are going and to learn what are your weak areas. The best ones are Transcender and EasyCert.

Good luck!

Agree! Especially for easycert software. It is cheap, high quality, contains good question pool (about more then 300 qs), "grag and drop" qs and very helpful explanations.

I used Sybex study guide also and found it great.

After you have read a good book, practiced with a router or have taken a CCNA class you still need a good practice test to get you ready for the exam.

For me, I use Boson Cisco Test 5.04. It helps me a lot. And it gives percentage one by one problem. You can maintain your score during the practice test.
