Howdy, everyone!

First, here is the 6/19 question with answer:

Given the following IP address and mask, provide the class,
network ID, # subnets, and # of hosts per net:

code:
Address/mask Class Net ID #subs # hosts ================== ===== ================== ======= ======== ___.___.___.___/__ _ ___.___.___.___/__ _______ ________ 212.47.93.33 /27 C 212.47.93.32 /27 6 30 212. 47. 93.0010 0001 255.255.255.1110 0000 --|SN|-- <--subnets ----|H | <--hosts 42.24.42.24 /28 A 42.24.42.16 /28 1048574 14 42. 24. 42.0001 1000 255.255.255.1111 0000 --|SN |-- <--subnets ----|H | <--hosts 196.221.212.9 /29 C 196.221.212.8 /29 30 6 196.221.212.0000 1001 255.255.255.1111 1000 --|SN |-- <--subnets ----|H | <--hosts 151.101.38.237 /28 B 151.101.38.224 /28 4096 14 151.101. 38.1110 1101 255.255.255.1111 0000 --|SN |-- <--subnets ----|H | <--hosts

Second, it's with great regret that I must announce I'm going to have to suspend my subnetting practice questions. I'm going to be starting a special project, and simply will not have the time to develop these questions. So rather than try to keep it up and put out shoddy questions, I'm going to put this thread on the shelf for a little while.

For those of you still wanting practice, I encourage you to copy the question above for the format and create your own practice problems (make up IP addresses). Stick with it and you'll get it!

Good Luck Anchor all the best.

If there's any interest I could put out some subnetting questions In Anchor's abscence. I couldn't do it as regulary as anchor has but perhaps hard enough to tide you over
