I've heard the 607 version of the CCNA will be retired soon.

Does anybody know if this is in fact correct?

And if so, when is the retirement date?

Cheers

I've heard the same although couldn't get confirmation on the cisco website. The information I heard (2nd hand info) was that the objectives were changing in July and the last time you can sit the current exam would be in September.

I have to stress though this is just second hand information I'm getting and I haven't actually read it on any official announcement.

Didn't Cisco recently retire the 507? So why would they be retiring the 607 so fast?

I'm part of the cisco academy, 4th semester, will this mean i have to go back and study new objectives or what. Do you think the test will be completely different or will they make minor changes.

On the cisco net. acad. website, they have a link in their news column pretaining to this. I've already posted it once here, so I'm not going to do that again, but it basically said that you had until at least December to sit the 607. If you were in the academy, you would have until I think March. It is on the Cisco academy website.

Also you can do a search with my username and view my previous threads. I copied the entire article into a previous thread.
