Which Cisco Certification after CCNA?

| Hi all people!!
I decided yesterday to go for my first certification: CCNA. I will study in my own as I cant afford it to pay any academy (here in Spain its soooooooo expensive). I would like to know one good book that covers all the exam, I mean, a book that it is good enough for passing the exam. Is Mike Meyers´ all in one recommeded for this exam???
Another thing guys: Which certification would u recommend me after CCNA?? Maybe another cisco one or it would be better go for Microsoft?? I would like to end up working in the administration system/ networking field. My background experience: months as helpdesk for the first Mobile Company in Spain and working now for one of the biggest companies here as .....hmmmmmm its difficult to translate the name... something like "systems assistant": managing servers, restores, lotus...
Thanks all in advance | |

| One suggestion - one step at a time.
The CCNA can be a pretty big first step, especially if you're new to Cisco.
In anycase, I'd probably start with an intro to Cisco Routers book, then get a CCNA study guide. That way you'll have a foundation to work from as you prepare for the exam.
There are several places on the web where you can get hands-on experience (remotely). I suggest you search this forum, as in the past few months there have been several posts on that subject.

| See how interested you are after taking CCNA with Cisco stuff. You may enjoy studying Microsoft Certs more.
as Anchor40 says one step at a time.
Good luck |
