| Both the Sybex and the Cisco books for 640-607 will explain in great detail what the difference is between the ports.

| By the time you finish your A+ and N+ you'll understand the differences between the two ports. So just read a little further, and be patient it'll come to you.

| A related question. I've been all the way through the Sybex CCNA guide and I'm still wondering about something. It seems we can refer to the Ethernet port as either "ethernet 0" or "e0". It seems like there should not be a space between "ethernet" and "0", since there is not space between "e" and "0".
Can anyone clarify this for me?
Thanks | |
