Cisco 2516 Eth.(14 Hub Ports)/Dual Serial/ISDN-BRI Router

| Guys.. what can I do with a 2516 router in a home environment?
Cable Modem, LInksys 4port router and several PC's..
It's got 14 ethernet ports, dual serial, and an ISDN port..
My question is, can I connect it to my cable modem?
What other environments can I emulate?
And what can the 14 ethernet ports can be used for?
I know it is primarily a PPP to Ethernet router, but couldn't find any other info on the net.
Thanks! | |

| Well, the serial and isdn ports won't do you any good. I guess you could use the hub portion of it, but that kinda defeats the purpose of the Linksys router.
I guess you could connect it to a port on the linksys and maybe telnet into it and configure the interfaces. I'm not familiar with the 2516 so I could be wrong.
or you could connect through the console port and mess with the config. |
