| and got 838/1000, man was I pissed when I walked out.
I never been a good at testing, but I felt pretty confident going in. I know the CLI basics and know how to setup rip, igrp, and ppp.
Subnetting was not a problem.
I know the OSI layers like the back of my hand.
There were a few questions because of the way they were worded that were confusing, but I thought I did well enough to pass.
I've never taken any cisco classes or had on the job experience.
I used the Exam Cram and Sybex 507 books.
also used the Sybex Lab router sim.
I just ordered the Cisco press CCNA 607 book so we'll see if Cisco's book helps.
This just motivates me to study harder and pass this BIIIAAAAAAAATCH!!!!! | |

| Sorry that you missed it by such a small amount.
Do not give up, just brush up on what you consider your weak areas and you will nail it next time.
I had heard that the questions were very wordy. At least you know what to expect next time which is an advantage.
I'm sure you will pass it next time.

| I feel your pain! I took the exam a couple of months ago and got 835/1000. I just knew I passed that test! However, after studying further, I figured-out one of the mistakes I made was not saving the configuration on one of the sims. Had I done that I am sure I would have passed the test. But I'm not a quitter and you don't sound like one either so keep on truckin'. | |

| Thanks for the words of encouragement guys.
I was talking to someone who's cousin had failed the test twice and he said that the second time around the test was harder.
I hope this isn't the case! |
