Hi!

Is it necessary to include other subnets not directly connected to your router interfaces when configuring RIP or IGRP?

You only need to include directly connected networks in the network statement. If you need to reach networks that are not directly connected, either your router will learn of them through the routing protocol or through you configuring static routes.
