I am in the process of getting ready for my Cisco CCNA 640-801. I was checking to see what everybody here thought about Boson. Or if you recommend something else.

Thanks

For my CCNA I bought and would recommend the book called "1200 flashcards for CCNA 640-801" by Cisco Press. It was a great book except for the fact it did not cover subnetting . It came with a CD that included a Boson-like testing engine with 500+ questions. I used that along with an ICND book by Cisco Press and an outdated Sybex CCNA book.

A friend of mine bought the Boson CCNA test and it really wasn't much different from the one I got with my flashcard book.

Boson tests have always been my recommendation in the 4+ years I have been on this site and a year on another, but you must remember that they contract out to their test writers so they are not all created equally. The betteer question (that I can't answer since I took the version 1 CCNA) is which is the best CCNA Boson exam to purchase.

PS. I do ot write tests for Boson so I have nothing to gain in my answer.

Boson is always good no doubt but personally i would prefer Odom's book(cisco press)which comes with cd to let u practice AFTER you studied/learn the book.
