| going into hospital for an operation want to study while i`m laid up off work for approx3-4 months | |

| good plan, if you are going to be there laying in bed for several days, then its a good idea to hit the books.
I know that sveral years ago when i had an operation, I was hospitalized for almost a week. I spent most the time playing video games, and watching movies.

| If you really read Wendell odom book and understands all.....well almost all of the topics.....and i mean really well....it would be suffice to pass the test.
However,I strongly believe that reading more than one material for a certain exams would be a good practice.
In your case, it would be a good idea...however before taking the test,I would encourage you to try your hands on the simulators or if you have the means, gets your hands wet on the real routers.
Hope for speedy recovery on your operations and good luck on your future exams.

| I also recommend Wendell Odom book. Laid up for 3 or 4 month should be plenty of time to do it, if you're upto it. It requires concentration and focus, I wouldnt be able to do it on painkillers. Does the hospital have WAP, if so tap it ad play on r1r2 it's easy to get in during the day and they have two routers you can mess on. |
