During the exam if you configure something wrong in a simulator question, does that mean the whole question is marked wrong?
Or does it give you marks on other parts that are correct?

sorry for all the questions but....

Also
does it accept any input? or if you make a mistake on the command line, can you use "no .........." and correct it?

Also
If you make a mistake in the command does it display "% Invalid input detected at '^' marker." ?

Would we have to configure ISDN and DDR in a Sim question?

What about having to configure frame-relay?

thanks for help,
cheers,
Jai

No one knows exactly how it is marked.

But in general, you can configure away like you do on a router. If you make a typo, yes it tells you. I'm tryin to remember if they might even have some tab completion and I think they accept abbreviations. You can usually devise a test to make sure your configuration worked usually can you ping some other router or host. I think simple Frame and DDR are probably fair game (you must be talking about CCNA, right?) Once you believe you have it working you click next to go to the next question. I had weird things happen on one of my CCNA sim questions -- everything I typed was white on a white window, it later turned yellow and finally it turned black. the other one was very easy. I believe I scrubbed the sim question on the BSCI and I still passed it.
