I'm about a week away from writing my Cisco Semester 1 final. I was just wondering if anyone has any advice on writing it. Also if anyone knows how many questions it is and what areas it mostly covers it would be of great help to me. Any study tips would be greatly appreciated. Also if there are any practice exam for it could you please let me know.

..if I don't get a 70% I'm out of college

Please help the needy!!!!

Thanx

Are you using the 3.0 version of the curriculum or 2.1.4? With 2.1.4 the questions on the final are all rom the previous chapter exams--nothing new. I don't have any experience with 3.0 yet, but I imagine it's probably the same. Cisco has a practice final exam you can take before taking the real thing--ask your instructor to activate it for you. We also had a hands on test which consisted of a subnet problem, configuring a workstation with an ip address from the resulting subnet and pinging through a series of routers that the instructor had preconfigured. 2.1.4 isn't too bad, but I hear that 3.0 is pretty tough. One of the instructors at the academy where I work let his students take the 2nd semester final as an open book test. Anyway, I hope this helps
