| The CiscoPress Exam Prep Guide is a good way to go. Make sure to review the exam info on the Cisco site to get the latest exam objectives etc. Cisco has been making a lot of recent changes to their exam structure. | |

| TCP/IP, Bridging, Routing, Segments, Packets, Frames, and Subnetting will still be broadcast, uninterrupted at their orginally scheduled time, stay tuned...
Yes the 640-607 is not longer available, hence my cautionary note to go to the vendor website and review their exam objectives.

| Hi there
I have taken the Semester 2 exam of the new CCNA 640-801 course and I am currently teaching Semester 1 to students. The latest book from Cisco Press which is a companion guide to semesters 1 and 2 is now on sale (published date June 2002 but only just released).
You can order it online from
www.pearson-books.com/ciscoacademy/. Hope this helps.

| Yes Raju,
The CCNA exam is the qualifying exam available to candidates pursuing a single-exam option for the Cisco Certified Network Associate CCNA certification. The CCNA (640-801) exam will test materials from the new Interconnection Cisco Network Devices (ICND) course as well as the new Introduction to Cisco Networking Technologies (INTRO) course. The exam will certify that the successful candidate has important knowledge and skills necessary to select, connect, configure, and troubleshoot the various Cisco networking devices. The exam covers topics on Extending Switched Networks with VLANS, Determining IP Routes, Managing IP traffic with Access Lists, Establishing Point-to-Point connections, and Establishing Frame Relay Connections.
