| hey folks.
I am wondering which book rates the best not just for information but retention in the CCNA Forum????
I have heard that Sybex is a very good text however you people who have either already passed or are soon to do so would have a better base of which book rates better.
Thanks

| I like to use both Sybex and Cisco Press books for study; and boson and self test software to identify areas that need more work. The Sybex books are good at presenting the concepts, and the Cisco books go into more detail. When I was studying for my CCNA I used the Sybex CCNA study guide and the Cisco ICND book. As far as retention goes, that seems like something that is probably different from person to person. | |

| For me its Todd Lammle's Book by Sybex and Wendell Odom's book by Cisco Press.
And like OHCCNP2003,i agree that Sybex book is good to cover concept and Cisco Press covers all the topics that usually ppl dreaded, the foundation frm ground up. | |

| Thanks folks
I have faith in Sybex.
I was just making sure I was going with the right text.
Sometimes there are so many out there to choose from that it can be easy to buy the WRONG text and that would really scuk
Cheers
