make sure your csu\dsu is set for correct channels and line info (b8zs\esf)

IOS v11 or 12 will config frame relay dynamicaly.

if you need more detail than this buy a book?

There is alot of things you should understand about frame-relay before working with it on a router. However, it can't be explained in a single forum. I would recommend reading a book or finding supplemental articles online for free.

Actually Larkspur is right, though you can get a good telco tech on occassion. It's nice to have a national carrier like MCI stay on the LECs back, making them retest when they lie and say they see no errors on the circuit (when both you and MCI have seen them).

It is extremly frustrating. It happens with all big telco's Bell is very bad. we changed carriers on alot of our frame circuits and man was that not a mess. Bell had things so baclwards it would sometimes take them 3 to 5 times to get it right, amazing!!!!

You know who is real evil is "ride the light" they have all that fiber ISp traffic and they will screw you up in a heart beat. Something to do about union workers from other telco's just like to piss on each other, I don't know, strange!!!
