I am studying for the 640-801 CCNA exam. I was thinking about taking the whole ccna exam, but now I am unsure.

Is it a better idea to take the INTRO and ICND seperately? I am thinking it is since I am a college student, it might make things easier to work with.

Have any of you taken the whole 640-801, or the INTRO or ICND? If so, any elaboration would be of help.

Thanks in advance.

If you don't have any experience on routers and switches, I'd recommend rather going the two exam route. IE INTRO and ICND seperately. This is not to say you will pass them without hands-on experience.

If you don't have access to equipment to practise on, download a router simulator. It's vital to have hands-on experience.

Cheers,

Warren
