I may actually be able to get some funding for some training in Cisco products ! - specifically I need to be able to configure 800 series routers for WAN access over ADSL via VPN to a central site and also configure a couple of Cisco Aironet WAP's.

Is this covered in the CCNA curriculum and if not can anyone suggest an appropriate course/s specific to theses products?

Thanks in advance

CCNA should prepare you to configure WAN but it in broad terms and generally revolves around Frame Relay and ISDN.

To get specific training to the detail you require maybe you should try out the Cisco Web Site and see what they have as far as training.

I would recommend you go to the bookstore and browse through the text book to determine how useful the course witll be to you.

CCNA is a prereq for all of the advanced Cisco courses
