| Well, I am no expert, but I would suggest go through your text books thoroughly. Make sure you know what is going on and you understand the conecpts behind all the technologies.
Then do all the practise questions and end-of-chapter questions you have, and do thisa untill you can score 100% on them.
Then move to your Routersim and work through all the labs they supply, as well as any lab excersises you have in your text books.
the day before the exam read all the summaries at the end of each chapter, and revise your weakest areas. Do one or two of the router labs just to freshen up, and you should be fine to sit the exam.

That is almost exactly what I did and passed with no trouble.

| this is funny, before i began studying for Cisco test, I had to ask questions on how to format and install new OS. This tells you how much computer experience i had. I have come a long way, and so can you. I also had problems installing drivers too, LOL. This is all before i began the challenge which, turned out to not be to hard to reach, that is if your prepared. If your not prepared then you will stumble, just make sure when you stumble, not to fall and if you do fall then get back up and continue again.
Bass and Andronda---great advice. This is essentially the path I took.
I placed about 10-15% at the total maximum time with router sims.
60% time on reading and learning and understanding why/how the technology worked. Note; I had around 4-5 reading books. Syngress was very good/ Lammeles was abut the best/ of course ciscos home library and study guides were nice.
the rest of the time 25% I used maybe 2-3 different types of question pools, EE-being the most helpful. Without EE I would not have passed as easily.
good luck. |
