| is there a difference who you take the exams through? | |

| No real differences. questions are the same and the exam format is the same.
Only the starting screen may be different

| May be true. I tested once only with Prometric. They spelled my name wrong. It took me 11 emails and one tel call to them to correct this mistake.
Then I started with VUE. No problem so far.

| I originally scheduled my CCNA more than a week ago, and after I paid the test fee, the test center couldn't connect to the Prometric test center in Australia to download my test questions!
They tried all day but couldn't connect so I wasted an entire day and all my prior preparations leading up to the exam. Not to mention that I had to wait another 3 weeks for my next scheduled exam.
Sent an e-mail complaining about the issue to Prometric about haven't received any explanation from them yet.
Thinking of switching to VUE after this bad experience...any good advice?

| VUE is OK for me, so far! | |

| I've taken the 2 tests for the A+, and the Network+ test with Prometric. No probs so far. I think what matters is the test center that you take the test at. | |

| I've taken 22 tests at the local prometric center and have only had problems once when the test took longer to download than they thought it would and had to wait an extra ten minutes or so.
One out of 22 is not bad and no show stoppers.

| Well, at least you got your questions in the end...hope it doesn't happen again next week when I re-sit for the exam
Otherwise, I'm really going to switch to VUE for good...

| I take all my exams at VUE, they are clean and nice, and printers are slow, and they have cameras watching so you don't cheat | |

| I do mine through Prometric and I have yet to have any issues with them and plus they have this hot little midget chick that works there. | |
|
| VUE used to be cheaper, not sure if thats still true. | |

| I think the prices on most tests are set by the test vendor.
Sometimes if you check both you can find specials deals or incentives. |
