I am scheduled for my CCNA next week. On the multiple choice questions do they tell you how many answers to pick from? e.g. if a question has say, (5) total answers do they say 'PICK (3)' as an example. Or is there no indication of how many to choose?
Also, after my CCNA which would be better, MSCE or CCNP? I like the WAN stuff but don't have lots of hands on (worked as a Data Sales Engineer) and finding it tough to get job without MSCE so far..any thoughts?

Yes Cisco is nice and tells you how many answers you need to pick.

Maybe CCNP will be the route for you seeing what you are interested in.

Do that what your hearts set on and you are good at. Don't be a branch on a tree and go with the flow of the wind.

The downturn is only cyclical and you should see things picking up in the cisco arena too.
