| For those looking to start acquiring equiptment for their Cisco studies I found a pretty good link straight from Cisco.
http://www.cisco.com/edu/emea/pdfs/lab_nov01.pdf
That pdf is for peole wanting to start their own Cisco Academies and lists 3 different bundles they can choose from to get it started. The "legacy" bundle is probably the closest to what people around here buy. They use 5 routers and 2 switches. I bought just 1 2501 to get some hands on time with a real router. Ill be using the sims for everything else.
For those interested, I think there is another data sheet for the CCNP academy lab setups. Ill be posting those in the CCNP forum.
*EDIT* sorry folks, no CCNP lab info
Hope this helps some people out. Cheers!

| I was dissipointed to see that the CCNA Basic Kit did not include a 2500 router, and for paying 7k, I would want one | |

| Yah I hear you on that one. I think to start an academy you are required to buy one of those packages, which pretty much stinks

| I am currently attending the academy and wasn't required to buy anything. | |

| No back...that is for someone wanting to start their own academy. They have to buy one of those labs. I was just using it to show some people what kind of lab equiptment Cisco recommends.
