| Routed protocol are typical LAN protocols, such as TCP/IP, IPX/SPX, AppleTalk.
Routing protocols are the protocol that router uses to route, such as RIP, RIP2, IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF...

| Just to add:
#1 Routed protocols
Actually Route Data......
IP, IPX, AppleTalk
Send your Data to Ip Address/Logical Address
#2 Routing protocols
RIP, IGRP, OSPF, EIGRP
Pass routing INFORMATION...
Like Routing Tables, ROuting Database
So Router Understand how to Reach Another
IP Address and How Far it is...
How far is determine by The Routing Protocol...
Rip Uses HOPS
IGRP Uses Bandwith & Delay
OSPF Uses Bandwith
ONCE THE Routing Protocol Determines
How to get there and How far The Routed
Protocol ACTUALLY ROUTES THE DATA.....
