Well it’s recertification time hooray! No, actually this bites but I understand why it needs to be done. My CCNA goes out in June so I thought I’d get on while a had a little time. I used to be a member here but I got so busy (lame excuse, I know) but I lost my username and so I just registered again. It’s been almost three since I last took a certification so I’m out of practice. I’ve got a lot more hands on this time I do this stuff on a daily bases, just got to reeducate my self on the theory and maybe a little on the WAN side of things. I mainly do DSL and minor 2500 or 7200 series router configs. The one thing I dislike is that the simulation I heard does not like abbreviation, which is total b.s. I’ll have to be careful maybe I’ll learn to spell without spell checker. If there are any tipes out there it would be appreciated because it seems cisco logic and my logic has strayed paths overe the years.

Thanks in advance,

donald

no worry, having been working on real routers, you will surely take full advantage of the context sensitive help and then laugh at how everything is given to you

take the time b4 the exam starts to play and read the sim instruction, most problem ppl had with the sim are fully explained there... pretty good case for teh *RTFM* advice... play with the sim ios for a minute and you will understand it.
