|
|
|
| I am writing the 640-607 exam tommorow at a VUE Testing facility. I was wondering is there a function on the exam that lets one use a calculator?

| I have never taken a Cisco exam, but would believe so because there is a lot of subnetting involed on the test. | |

| Sorry to disappoint you but, NO calculators are allowed in the exam and you won't find one on the exam PC.
Furthermore, when I take my exams (Prometric Centre) I am NOT allowed to take ANYTHING else into the exam room except myself. They even have security cameras in there!

| I hope you can count with your fingers well, you will need em. | |
|
| When I made the Exam con Vue, i have only a pen and white papers to make the count. Is the only thing permitted, is imporant to remember how to make the password, and router rip with routers , and the subnet is not hard.
Good Luck

| you guys need to pick a center to go to and kiss up the test administrator... after 2/3 visit she would let you take anything in there... 2 hours test without bringing in couple red bulls? you must be kidding! | |

| No calculators.
You can take pen paper at Vue, but nothing with Prometric testing center... Unfortunately, I have to take one more exam at Prometric due to the voucher I bought.
I am going to Vue now whenever I can.
When subnetting, just write the following table down before the exam:
bit/ mask/ network
1 128 2
2 192 4
3 224 8
4 240 16
5 248 32
6 252 64
7 254 128
after while you do it in your head... |
