| Hello all
Does the Cisco 640-607 exam simulations require you to save your work, as in "copy run start," before you exit the router, or do you just do the command entered.
Let's say you are setting IGRP routing, normally we would do "copy run start" after we have gotten what we want.
Also, does anyone know how close the Boson test engine is to the actual testing format? That is the only Cisco testing engine I have and I really did not want to purchase anything else. I am scoring above 95% on that now, even with the Boson sims.
Thanks for all the help
Peace. | |

| no . the important thing to remember is to test it to make sure it works. | |

| I have not written the exam but will be doing very soon.
Lets assume that a sim question in the exam rerquires me to setup a static ip route, will the sim permit me to test my answer by issuing a ping command? | |

| Luchnia,
You can go to the Cisco website and get a look at the simulation engin, it is a flash based program. it is at:
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/10...n/tutorial.html
I cannot tell you if they take points off if you don't "copy runn start". But I scored 987 when I did it... so, just type it in, and treat it like you ARE configuring a router for your customer. Do all the normal things that you would do.
Good luck. | |

| when I did the exam at the end of last month I couldn't tell if the config needed to be saved or not, I didnt and my score was around 900, so I suspect it would be a good idea to save the config | |

| Hi guys,
You will NOT be required to do a "copy run start" at the end of the simulation exam.
I am making it double sure here since I took the exam last week just wanted to know/observe how the new CCNA exam looks like...pretty much easier huh..!
thanks |
