| Passed 640-607 with a 924. I was hoping to do better but I'll take it.
One thing that "cheesed" me was the fact that the PC that I was taking the
test on had to be rebooted several times because of the flash sims. The
testing centers should max out RAM and processors for any PC's that they are
using for tests that use sims.
Anyway, on to the CCNP test. I already have the Cisco press prep library.
If you want to know what I used to pass it was:
-Cisco Press:
-ICND 640-607 course book
-CCNA 640-607 Cert. Guide
-Sybex:
-640-507 Study Guide
-I took an instructor led class after reading the books to drill stuff
in (thanks Shamim at NetPlus)
-Home lab with 2 routers
Tell you what some people may say that an instructor led class is a waste,
but it helps clear up alot of things that were foggy and solidify those that
you know. If you are in the Detroit area I highly recommend Netplus, Inc.
I'm going back to them for my CCNP after I read the books and work on my
lab.
just my $.02
