Hey ya'll, first day on the job required walking 13 miles between classrooms in order to get the job done. My legs will be STRONG in no time. But in the 95 degree heat, I'm dying!

What do you like to use for a lightweight cordless drill? What would you recommend for installation work?

Do you recommend a flashlight to go with it? If so, just how the heck do you like to lug all your tools around? This stuff gets heavy after awhile!

fyi, Makita has a nifty 3.3 lbs 12V for ~$119.00

The only lighter drill I've found so far was their 9.6 volt at 3.1 lbs for $99.

But does Makita use the cool one hour battery charger?

Mmmmn? Bosch have a couple of models that may suit. Can't remember the model numbers. Don't get anything less than a 12volt. Bosch are suppose to be good value for money. Don't be tempted to buy 'home handyman' type drills. They're crap...in the long run! Don't forget to haggle...and get the next model up!!!

I always use Black & Decker when it comes to power tools.

I've got five Black & Deckers in my garage that I've acumulated over the last few years. Every last one of them was great when new, and are now junk because the batteries won't hold a decent charge anylonger.

Lol, sorry I didn't know how to do a poll and was too tired to figure it out.

cmh, I'll look into the Bosch. I think they were on Home Depot or Sear's site but I didn't look at them because I didn't recognize the brand name.
