I haven't done up a calendar yet. But, I want to kick it for a short period of time and re-work the physical aspect of my lab facility. I want to do a Linux cert and I think my organization might benefit if I do the Cisco VoIP circuit, I know I will!

When I finish the MCSE I need to re-do my lab and include my routers and switch then the fun (Fun????) really begins as I intend to get CCNP as well as CCNA.

VoIP huh, what router will you be using for that?

I'm still after a 2621 for my home lab for trunking and they look great! (Kidding)

Cisco IP Telephony Operations Specialist...
This particular cert only requires two more exams and the CCNA as a prerequisite.

Jeff,

Congrats on your passing score and thanks for replying to my post the other day. I will be taking the exam next Thursday and was wondering do you have any tips on how to remember the ISDN stuff especially the isdn reference points and function groups. Any picture study method. I just couldn't get it into my head.

What I did was to write it out for myself. Usually just make a spreadsheet or chart.

Start with:

a) A Function group is a set of i s d n functions performed by a particular device or software.

b) Reference points are the interface specifications between function groups.

Then go from there. A spreadsheet would make the most sense to use and it gives you a great visual and only take a few minutes to compile or revise. Let me know if it helps.

Hi jeff_j_black,
Congratulation about your high score, can you tell me what materials did you use?
and if it is possible to get them through the internet (off you or off the net)

Thanks in advance

Some people don't read the entire thread, just the odd post.

Look on the first post of this thread and Jeff details what he used to study, simply click on the link.
