| After the first exam indicated i FAILED without a grade etc... cisco/prometric agreed to let me retake this ccna exam.
this time around i just reviewed for 15 minutes prior to the exam, and well, though i thought i failed by a small margin, i was very surprised to see i scored a 885!
This exam is not hard at all. Just the wording and the type of questions are there to throw you off.
While a whole bunch of you are ANTI-brain dump, I would suggest after hours and hours of studying and practing with the sample questions, (which look somehwat like the actual exam,...but the actual exam contains more difficult questions as well)....is to look at the brain dumps. Not to memorize questions/answers as thats a waste of time not to mention passing a test without knowing the info is just ....
reason i suggest looking at a few of the more difficult questions in the brain dump is to get familiar with the wording that cisco uses. I come to realize alot of it is quite complicated to trip you up if your not careful enough to reread it to make sure of every detail. Sure, thats granted with alot of exams, but for some reason cisco really did bug me out more.
I realize most of you on this forum are ANTI brain dump for one reason or another, but i still believe if they are used to get familiar with the real syntax of the exam, there is not a problem with using them. Somewhat like studying from last semesters final exam to see how the professor words his exams...and not necessarily look at the exam for answers praying those questions will be a repeat on the new exam.
Anyhow, i would also suggest getting a router sim for anyone who hasnt taken the ccna and plan on taking it soon. BOSON makes a good router sim.
I would also be sure to know your stuff.
I did....and the results of the exam showed that i had missed atleast 2 basic OSI questions...which should not be...just to show you the exam is worded strangely. |
