Frame Relay DLCI q's

| OK, I know frame relay uses 10 bits for the DLCI. There are 1024 possible addresses.
My question (from a practice test):
What is the range?
Is it 1-1024, or 0-1023?
I know computers usually start counting at '0', but does it apply to Cisco?
I'm taking my CCNA Friday, and this question is really bugging me. Among other things...
Thanks,

| The DLCI range is 0-1023, which gives 1024 DLCI's. BUT. . . DLCI's 0 & 1023 are used for link management, with DLCI 0 used for the ANSI & Q933a LMI types and DLCI 1023 used for the CISCO LMI type. DLCI's 1-15 & 1008-1022 are reserved. So, the valid DLCI's for PVC's is 16-1007. I don't believe that you will get this deep on the exam, however. Hope that satisfies one of the things that's bugging you.
Yes, Cisco does use 0's.
Good luck with the exam !! | |

| Thanks!
And thanks, I post the gruesome results when I'm finished.
